Very good 8.0
Very nice place! Love that every cabana has its own little private pool and outdoor swings. We stayed in the Sailfish duplex cabana which is the best privacy wise. We also stayed in the honeymoon cabana, but this is probably the least private of the cabanas when out on the deck/in pool/ on swings. After the sun sets you can see glowing jellyfish in the water below your pool which is really neat. We saw a bunch of these at the Sailfish, only a couple at the honeymoon suite. They also have Alexa in every room and claim you can order room service on them. However, this only worked once out of the 10 times we tried calling (the kitchen never answers). It is just a short walk to the kitchen though so not a big deal. Overall had a blast and you cannot beat the views! Lastly, this is a gated community and it does cost ($5 USD/ $10 Belize) for round trip commute over the bridge into the actual main hub part of town in San Pedro. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart and booking excursions through this place. We always had the BEST guides, and the price was only $5 more than booking directly with an excursion place (which is totally worth it since they pick you up and drop you back off at your cabana). Especially ask for Michael to do your Mayan Ruin & Cave Tubing tour! Best guide we have ever had period anywhere.

Neither a “WOW” nor an “OMG” will suffice to describe our experience! Do not let the construction on that part of the Island divert your attention from the massive jaw-drop that Lina Point calls for. After all, once we arrived at that hotel, we forgot the world outside, (yes, including the construction seen on the way there) and became impressed with all that the hotel offers. The fact that this hotel is aprox 5-10 minutes away from the noisy part of San Ignacio turned out to be an unexpected bonus! It was quiet and relaxing to enjoy the breezy night on the deck, avoiding loud crowds! Staying at the hotel’s Dorado over-water cabana, it is the first private cabana in a row of just a few charming units, we (party of 3) were immediately captivated (cabanas are named; not numbered): The warm use of colors and the selection of materials & finishes, the super-comfortable king size bed, the soft towels, the private back-wooden deck overlooking the clear water, made our stay extra special. After a complimentary pickup at Belize Water-Taxi, the hotel’s staff warmly welcomed us with a welcome drink at the bar! There, at the “back yard” of the main building, over-the-water swings, a large pool, and chaise-lounges awaited for us to relax. Because we arrived earlier than check-in time, we quickly changed to bathing suites and enjoyed that common area. Shortly after, Amaru guided us to the cabana, and later, in the evening, Chef Lucky prepared delicious take-away and delivered them to

Fair 4.0
Lina point was a disappointment. The pictures do not depict the property very well. The rooms were very small no chair or table and very small closet and drawers. and the bathrooms have no ventilation. Most of the staff were very friendly especially the chefs. But there was just no Vibe. The food was good but very limited. Our room was only cleaned once in 6 days if we wanted clean towels and water we had to get them ourselves. The road in is almost impassable even in the rouged golf carts. The vendor the hotel uses for golf cart rentals was very unfriendly.. Most of the time we were there the water had subsided leaving it looking like a mud flat. Even though the pictures show a beach one could hardly call it one

Nice Hotel and Staff over the water!
What an unexpected surprise! We had a 1st floor bungalow over the water with a glass floor. So fun to see all of the critters in the water below! David and Tula were so polite and kind. They picked us up and dropped us off from the water taxi in their golf cart at no charge. Lucky and Alex in the bar on the top floor were cool too (strong drinks)! We didn't eat much there as it was a lot of bar food (like fried stuff-which we were trying to avoid). The only thing we ate were the Nachos and they were the kind made with liquid cheese (vs. Melted shredded cheese) so we were not a fan of them. The internet was a little spotty but that was all over the island so it was no surprise. The rooms were spotless, the water pressure was great. All of the linens were nice too! Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel and we would consider staying here in the future should we decide to return to Belize.

Beautiful rooms with great balcony views off of them. Very neat over the water. Small enough resort that there was always hammocks or pool chairs available around the really nice temperature pool. The only downside is that it is a bit away from the town, in amongst other resorts - however there are some restaurants walking distance that cater to the resorts. Most people had golf carts, so this would be an non issue and for us it was still completely fine as we had spent 4 days at a different place closer to town prior so enjoyed the seclusion. Very nice staff!
