This was an overnight stay during our vacation to Tohoku area. The ocean view room was larger than expected and it. Plus sleep 6 people very comfortable. The staff and the shamisen were the highlight of this ryokan, the food was also delicious. We want to come back again.

Great experience here with welcoming staff, clean rooms/bathrooms and a shamisen show. Onsen was relaxing and it had a great view. We enjoyed the dinner that had lots of choices and breakfast was good too.

The seaside room was beautiful with a private onsen on the balcony that was always warm. Room came full equipped with all the amenities you needed included water, tea, snacks and robes. The bed was quite comfortable, the room spacious and at a comfortable temperature. Felt like a private spa just for me.
Morning breakfast buffet was full of a wide variety of food with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean. The staff was very accommodating, even with my English. Would recommend.

2-night stay
Stayed 2 nights with family. Hotel is clean and spacious, with nice views of the bay. Breakfast was included with our room, and was really good (Japanese style). Wife enjoyed the neighborhood and the hotel spa one day, while the rest of us drove a couple of hours to go hiking. Not a lot of dinner options in the immediate area, but train station is close, and Aomori city is a short drive away.
Hotel staff was attentive to disease transmission prevention.

Great value and service
Both dinner and breakfast are great. The traditional room has everything we expected. On-sen on the top floor has ocean view. Much better value than the $500 Hoshino Aomoriya resort that we stayed in.

Comfortable stay with excellent hospitality
Our experience at this hotel was filled with gratitude & awe.
We checked late evening after a long touring day in aomori region & an early mng flight - to find this hotel had no " vegetarian options" in food at all - at that hour even salad/ fruits/ bread were not available.
Hotel conceirge were kind to direct us to near by restaurant where we cud find vegetarian diet options..BUT unfortunately that restaurant was also closed for the day !
We were surprised when hotel staff offered to drive us to a family mart/ convenience store at that hour so that we cud buy some food/ drinks to suit our dietary req..
not just that they even bought us some fries 🙏... we were truly touched & overwhelmed with this gesture & have no words to express our heart felt gratitude for their warmth & kindness...
This is what makes hotel stays excellent & comfortable & we will cherish this memory in years to come.

Great experience of hot spring at Aomori
My aim to accommodating this hotel is the hot spring. I am going to share my experience about that.
The hot spring is free for every resident at any time. (except cleaning hours 00:00~06:00 and 10:00~12:00)
I had been enjoying in the afternoon and after dinner with a nice sea view.
The changing room is also comfortable and you could be very relax.
The whole atmosphere makes me feeling cozy.

Beautiful Hot Spring Baths
The hotel is very close to Asamushi-Onsen train station and had nice, clean, comfortable rooms, but was really set apart by gorgeous hot spring bathing facilities on the 9th floor. The hotel provides very comfortable yukata to wear in the room and on your way up to the hot springs. The showering area is well stocked with bath products. There were three tubs to choose from 2 large indoor and one small outdoor, all with gorgeous views into Mutsu Bay. We had a great stay and I would strongly recommend to any onsen lover.
