I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Hotel is good, if not slightly tired, but very clean and I slept well. My Monday evening disappointment was short lived following a very welcoming and wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff.

Arrived very late, Staff were very helpful and already had room assigned. Due to early start didn't see much of the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was great and there was a good selection.

Room on the edge of a country town
The staff are welcoming even with my lack German they welcomed me in English. The single room was clean and tidy. The hotel has character with lots of countryside artifacts all around. The buffet dinner was very good with a good selection of salad, hot main meals and dessert. The breakfast was well presented with good choice. The hotel is on a local road so fairly quiet at night.

Great hotel in a beautiful natural environment
Excellent choice of hotel. Good quality food and drink, very sympathetic staff and even the single room was very spacious with a modern bathroom. Loved that it came with a balcony and comfortable armchairs. Wi-Fi signal very good and access to swimming pool and saunas is free - definitely recommend!

Definitely not your run-of-the-mill place but has its own quaint charm. Parts of the hotel had a little bit of musty / moldy smell so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with respiratory issues - but it’s charm and uniqueness delighted us.
