It's located at the center of the city. Nice view, and friendly staff. Breakfast was great. We had a little trouble with the hot water, but aside from that it was pleasant experience.

What makes a 3 star rating a plus Rating is their staff and followed by location. My wife and I booked in for 3 nights towards the end of Feb, 2020. Ended up staying an additional 3 days. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable with local insight to attractions, shopping, restaurants and taxi service. Front desk manager “Son” was exceptionally helpful, his English was excelllent. Also the front door / security gentleman was very helpful and good English. All staff including other security and front desk and kitchen staff were great, making our stay enjoyable. A great surprise was one day returning to our room was a beautiful complementary birthday cake for my wife’s birthday. What other small hotel would do that. We had booked a superior room and one night a large family type people took over several rooms on our floor, they were noisy with loud voices and children running in the between rooms. I spoke to “Son” who immediately offered and we changed room, which turned out to be a nicer and larger room. Location: Short walk to central market, lots of local restaurants and small variety stores closed by. Vary safe and friendly area. Dalat is a city that is a little up and a little down when walking the streets. Breakfast variety changed daily, not large but adequate. Rooms were clean, bathrooms shower stalls, water will leak out unfortunately. We have been travelling for 5 weeks on Vietnam, if I come back to Dalat I would stay here again due to the location and their staff.

Nice hotel , beds are comfortable the sheets and towels are nice , there is no ac in the rooms , so if you are going there in the summer look for another hotel , we stayed there in feb and it was cold so we did not need ac, they over charge for airport transportation, we paid 360.000 ved for on 1 way , by taxi on the way back it was 185.000 ved , and breakfast was nice when they had the buffet, but since the hotel was. It busy we only had that 2 times , the alcarte was terrible, but nice hotel over all if you go in the winter .

Quadruple room was very spacious. Stayed for 4 nights. Mattress was hard but just the way I preferred it. Had quality sleep the 4 nights I was there. Breakfast spread was alright. If only their coffee's temperature could be a little hotter. It was too lukewarm for my liking. Shower head water pressure was not that stable though. But they warned us before hand as it was the new year so, Dalat city are packed with tourists so the water system would be a little wonky. Staffs were warm and friendly.

It’s convenient and comfortable. Breakfast was good. However, we cannot sleep before 11:30pm for the music from the shop nearby kept playing and it started at 6am again. On the other hand, we met the most helpful and caring staff, Mr Sra, I have ever met. He helped us to find car, make sure he will bring us to where we want throughout the day etc. And he even seek help from police after we shared our “sleeping problem”.

Great Location in Da Lat
Good location close to the night market and some good dining options in the vicinity with spacious rooms, slightly harder bed as the norm in Vietnam, clean bathrooms but overall great hotel, with a fantastic assistance at reception "Quynh" who spoke great english and was very helpful with our stay in Da Lat, also a special mention to the lady Chef in the morning who served a beautiful bowl of wonton soup at the morning buffet which was in our top three pho in Vietnam

Excellent Hotel that are here to serve.
Excellent hotel for family stay eventhough it is a bit noisy in the evening as we open the windows for cold air. As for breakfast, there were a wide spread of food. We loved the excellent crab broth used for hot Pho Noodles. Service received were great. They help us to arrange a cake for us to celebrate my niece birthday. Even the security guard of the hotel can speak english and are so helpful. He patiently pointed out the directions for us to explore the area . Will definitely come back and stay without hesitation.

6/10 Good

The rooms are a little on the small size, and the fancy bathtubs\showers that have replaced the walk-in showers shown in the photos would be small for a typical (read small) Vietnamese, let alone an old porker like me. Breakfasts were OK, but very limited for western options - the hotels main clientele seems to be Asian tour groups. Having said that, the location was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great beautiful rooms downtown with good breakfast
Really nice place beautifully furnished. Cozy bed and rooms were very clean. Bathroom was small and tolet was cramped between the sink countertop and shower glass. Plumbing must have been off because for some reason after my first night room got smelly but the exhaust fan seemed to clear it out. Breakfast was great they even had cornflakes and fresh made omelets to order.

My stay was only average. We were charged for using 2 water bottles that were in the fridge. No one mentioned anything when we checked in. Breakfast bar was only ok. I’ve been to other hotels where everyone was friendly and accommodating. I would not come back to this hotel.

The Roy Dala Hotel was comfortable and conveniently located. It was nice being in a hotel that was so fresh and new. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The only negative aspect of the hotel was the noise. There was lots of street noise, both day time from nearby construction and evening from nearby karaoke. There is no air conditioning so the room got stuffy when the windows were closed to diminish the noise.

Good central location and very helpful staff. A few things that I would say are a bit strange to me are that the shower drain was not in the shower but instead in the corner beside the toilet. It works fine but I have not seen this before. The sound insulation between the rooms is not the best and I could hear the other guests at times. Fortunately they were not too loud.
