There's so much to see there in Rutland. We found a little restaurant hiding between buildings that we enjoyed called Roots. The churches had neat architecture, and you have to find the locomotive made up of all kinds of scrap. It's very cool!!

Great ski town. It isn't on any mountain, but there are like 3 good ski resorts within 45 minutes.

We were only one night in Rutland, passing through from New Hampshire to Ticonderoga, New York. We had dinner at the 99 Restaurant across the street at the 99 . It was great. A grocery store was also in the same plaza. Very convenient.

"I stayed here while working far from home. It had the comforts of home with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and living space. The staff were helpful in answering my questions and giving recommendations. "
"Wow! There is nothing negative to say about the Brandon Inn. Location, staff, breakfast, the rooms, all outstanding. We’ll stay here again at the first excuse, I can find. "
"THE STAFF WAS AMAZING, COULDN'T BE MORE HELPFUL,
THE BREAKFAST WAS MORE THAN SUFFICIENT & PLENTYFUL.
IT WAS NOT EVEN TAKING DOWN UNTIL AFTER 9:30 AM!!!
THE CLEANING STAFF NEED TO PAY MORE ATTENTION TO CLEANING BEHIND & UNDER THE BED. PUT THE REST OF THE ROOM SEEMED CLEAN.
