Cologne is a lovely city. The cathedral's famous but there were lots of other interesting things to see and do and some great restaurants and bars. Everyone was friendly. Recommend the open top bus tour, the chocolate museum and the bar right outside

Cologne is a very walkable city but there is really not much to do in the city centre. The cathedral is amazing and definitely worth the visit; but, the allied bombing raids took out everything around the cathedral. One or two days is plenty here.

There's stunning architecture with the Cathedral and Rhine Bridges, a fascinating WW2 era museum but the highlight for us was the Museum Ludwig - an immense collection of modern are all in a terrific gallery with amazing views of the city.

Cologne is a very nice old german town, with its impressive Cathedral, among the nicest in gothic style in Western Europe and I'm never fed up of this very impressive walk between the city center and the Messe, crossing the Rhine river.

Cologne is an amazing city for culture, shopping and food. It is a pretty decent city for wheelchair users (my partner being one) with the majority of things being accessible. Low curbs help a lot and people do help where they can.

Cologne was festive, walkable and surprisingly relaxing.. The cathedral dome climb was challenging but great views from the top. The chocolate museum was a disappointment - save the entrance and use that money to buy chocolates.

Make sure you walk up to the Cologne Cathedral, it's an amazing place. Free to enter, and open quite late. Dinner at Peter's Brauhaus is hard to beat.

"The room was great with a large king-sized bed. The breakfast was superb with ample choices. The staff was very friendly. The gym and sauna were a nice bonus as was the free drink for each day you decide to cancel room cleaning."
"Great location - very walkable to the old town, the Rhine, the cathedral, and the train station, yet quiet. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. "
"I liked the location of the hotel. Most attractions can be reached on foot from the hotel. It’s right on the Rhine too, which was lovely to look out onto every day. Breakfast and the service was excellent. Great choice of continental or cooked breakfasts. Staff on reception were always friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend."
