Nice people, great vacation.
Couldn’t believe how clean this facility was. The beds had three different levels of pillow firmness, which was wonderful. Our bathroom was very small, but again very clean. Not enough staff at the front desk to handle check out or check in. Breakfast package was adequate. Our refrigerator was frozen up and had to be replaced. Our ceiling fan controller had dead batteries and had to be replaced but maintenance was very fast on both requests. The grounds were very well maintained. Housekeeping staff was lovely. Parking was $25 per day plus fees breakfast was $30 a day plus fees per person. Hawaiian cultural offerings were great!

Property is dated, pool is small, grounds are well maintained. Breakfast buffet was poor quality and expensive ($30/ea) for what was offered, was less than what one expects at free breakfast in lesser hotels. We went down the boardwalk for better at equivalent price point. Private event closed restaurant and no alternative available, oddly pool snack shack closed with sign that said go to restaurant for service, which was clearly closed for the private event. Was not told about restaurant situation by desk services. Luckily lots of nearby options

Friendly staff and very convenient location near whalers village. We had an oceanfront room with a great view. Also had a recently renovated room which was clean and comfortable.

Extra charges at the beach
I would of like to have breakfast a la cart at the restaurant but they only had buffet for $30. Also the umbrellas and chairs were for charge at the beach and it was too expensive.

A+ stay at this beautiful historical property!
We LOVED our visit at the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel! Every single person we encountered was 10/10 with Hawaiian hospitality and service, starting with the man at reception who was exceptionally kind and accommodating (Mahalo nui, Alvin!) and really made our stay.
Breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious with many juice options like guava.
Social note to management: it was very much appreciated you don’t use electric noisy blowers to maintain the landscape. We were stunned and thrilled that instead of noisy appliances, the wonderful landscape and horticulture team were utilizing rakes. It makes a big difference in ambience and we really appreciate it!

Generally nice stay.
Nice establishment with some undergoing changes due to the recent fire at Maui, which is understandable. Considering everything is expensive at Hawaii, it is still expensive hotel. But the staffs dedication to make better experience for visitors were noticeable. The TV intro ads were a bit too much.
