First off, we waited over an hour for transportation to pick my family up from the airport. Later we found out that there was only one transportation van! Every we’d call the lady kept saying he’s on his way, we were 15 mins from the airport in the business district. Once we reached to hotel, springhills of Marriott there was only one person at the service desk and that also took over an hour for 3 rooms that were booked in advance. there were two elevators but only one working, we had to use the stairs up four flights for the rest of the night. The hallway reeked of wet musty carpet and other unpleasant smells, and rooms carpet smelled the same way but more chemically! No windows opened so we used the air conditioner the whole night with the outside temperature of only 50 degrees. There were no hand soaps or shower gels to use period! We had to unpack our suit cases for an 8 day cruise for those items. Our second day after returning from the cruise the same situation continued only this time we made mention of the conditions, with nothing being done other than staff spraying a heavy perfume down the hallway. Snack area was poorly stocked behind the registration desk. Popcorn being offered we had to use 8oz cups from underneath the registration desk that had already been opened, no bags were found or offered. We had a party of 12 to be transported back to the airport the next morning with again only one transport van and other families were left waiting and had to use a lift!
