Great spot to stay while in Palm Springs
Really enjoyed staying at The Twist while in Palm Springs. Its a really cool hotel that was previously an apartment building. With its former life and recent renovations it has some of the largest hotel rooms you could ask for. The décor is great with it being all new inside but looking just enough retro. The room we had has super cool retro styling while still looking modern, we loved it! Seen on here that someone said it looked old and dated inside, not sure how anyone can say that the place is basically a new renovation. We found its location great, close enough to the action of downtown but very quiet. I would totally stay there again.

Abysmal service and poor showers
We reported several issues the first day and when we left none were resolved to our satisfaction. The bathroom faucet was so loose you had to use 2 hands to turn it on/off. They tightened it, but it was still loose and continued to move. The TV remote wouldn’t change the volume. They replaced it with another bad remote. We reported it and was never replaced. The towels weren’t replaced the first 2 days, then again they missed the day before we left. We had to call for more toilet paper and they never gave us more dishwasher pods after the second day. Abysmal service all the way around. The shower had such low water pressure it never gave more than a trickle. Would never recommend anyone to stay there.

The staff was great. However, the pool heater was broken so the pool was very cold. The WiFi never worked and for whatever reason the area of the hotel was kind of a dead zone so could use my own service but was very slow. The hotel furniture needed updating and the carpet needed replacement, cleaned, or just removed. The bathroom sink had no counter space. The price of room was cheaper than other hotels in the area but most likely because of the condition of the hotel. Kim the hotel manager was great and I think is trying to make it good but owners need to throw in some money into the hotel.

Nice Twist!
I really liked how much thought was put into the many nice, fun touches at this property and in my room. I loved the styles and artwork. Great balconies! Lovely, comfortable king size bed. Biggest negative for me was the televisions in the room - one not connected to cable and both impossible to operate!

Was there recently with 4 friends for a music festival, and this hotel was close to one of the venues. We got the 2 bed / 2 bath room which was perfect! There’s also a huge balcony that we were able to hang out on at night and relax. Check in was quick, and the staff were very helpful. The pool is HUGE as well with lots of chairs and umbrellas.

Great refuge from 115 temps.
Place was nice and conveniently located. Short drive or walk to the main drag downtown. Was a quiet area at night. Rooms were clean and spacious with a large kitchen. Shower temp was a bit stubborn but manageable. Overall was a great place. Their check in procedure is a bit different and never received a return call when leaving messsge about confirming check in and someone being available upon arrival.
