Hotel antigo, porém reformado, com quartos agradáveis. Decoração retrô de hall de entrada e acessos principais, o que dá um aspecto visual muito poluído. Hotel com acessibilidade. Tratamento impecável. Alimentação variada e muito boa. Equipe de "outros-serviços" sensacional, com várias atividades para todas as idades. Festas ótimas. O local é um pouco afastado do aeroporto e a estrada não é muito boa. A área externa é espetacular! O hotel possui SIM elevador, diferente do que foi informado no site Hoteis.com. Outro ponto que o site oferece é um crédito de US$ 850,00 por quarto para o uso em serviços durante a estadia. NÂO são créditos, são descontos na compra de serviços no hotel - o que achei super enganoso!!!

Second time we've been here. last time was around 7 years ago. It's still a great place to go on vacation. Food is great and staff is very friendly and open to assist and accomodate when possible. I did see some things that would substract a star compared to my last visit: the beach (which is private) was very dirty and I didn't see staff doing cleanups. It looks like they re-did the hotel rooms. I think they are more meant for couples than for families, the bathing area is very open and was hard to get the kids away from it while someone was bathing. If you have small kids, probably this is not the best place to go. There's usualy loud music and lots of noice until 12 ~ 1 am, so be mindful of that. The rooms have solid walls, but unfortunately the doors are weak, so all noise comes from there and you will hear it loud and clear from the room. The AC systems are also extremely loud, not sure why. Maintenance team came to check and confirmed this is the case and it's the system they purchased, so if you're not a heavy sleeper, watch out.

Absolutely beautiful property and resort. Only downfall is the rooms do not have a private bathroom because the room is open concept and the bathtub, shower, and sinks are all exposed beside the beds.

The RIU Palace was such a wonderful place to stay at and relax. The staff was amazing and attentive with everything. One staff remember that stood out was Franco, he always made sure we had water and drinks at all times. The property was very family friendly and currently planning our kids there next year.

We stayed at Riu palace peninsula last year for 3 nights and we loved it, so decided to take my family (group of 10)to this Riu this year. He had the higher expectations due to the higher reviews they had. Unfortunately, we had the mix feelings at this place. The pools were too small for the size of this resort, the room was small with kinda see through shower (not convenient if you travelled with kids). They didn't have music at the pools. The service was overall great, except maybe 1 guy at Asian restaurant was kinda rude. The entertainments were ok. The lobby was good with A.C. The beach was horrible, we couldnt swim at all. They have the huge and pretty landscapes, but I wished they had used it to build another pools instead. Overall, it was ok trip, but I wont come back to this resort or this area anymore. Good luck !

My husband and I went to this resort for our honeymoon and we absolutely fell in love with it!! He wants to go back again next year. The resort was even more beautiful in person than the pictures which were already so beautiful. From the drive up, to the restaurants, to the pool and beach areas everything was amazing to look at. Our room was cleaned every morning to perfection! Dinner was our favorite! We always had great options to choose from. The one thing that really topped our experience off was the service from those that work there! Everyone was so nice and constantly made sure we had exactly what we needed! Two servers we had from the time we got there to the time we left were Lorenzo and Oscar. They made sure we were in their sections every day and we felt so taken care of each time. They became more like friends of ours by the end. Lorenzo went above and beyond for us our last morning before we left by surprising us with a table set up just for us with flowers, sparkles, and mimosas for breakfast! We 10/10 recommend vacationing at this resort and even more recommend receiving service from Lorenzo and Oscar if you have the opportunity! They will not disappoint!
