This is basically a hostel. There’s no air conditioning in the room, so it’s impossible to sleep during the summer because it gets extremely hot and stuffy. I stayed for one night and couldn’t sleep at all. There’s no bathroom or toilet in the room; instead, there are only two shared bathrooms, and the toilets and showers aren’t separated. The room is very cramped—there’s barely enough space between the two single beds to fit a suitcase. You’d be much better off staying at a YHA hostel.

On the intersection of 2 busy streets, you will hear noise from outside and neighbors. Not many outlets in the room. Room is true to pictures. Bed, pillow and linens were good. Stayed during winter, so it wasn't too hot but there is only a ceiling fan available for cooling. Parking isn't easily available, and will need decent mobility to walk the area since it's at the top of the hill. However the hostel is right next to Roma Street Parkland which is a great stroll. Not too far of a walk from downtown, South Bank or train stations either. 2nd floor kitchen is stocked fairly well. 2nd floor bathrooms are small but true to pictures. Some bathroom deadbolt locks needs to be replaced, but still has door lock. Common area cleaning is good, you may need to bring some issues to owner's attention since they're cleaning quite quickly. Owner is usually at the desk, and friendly and helpful. No problem with getting an extra towel or hairdryer.
