Great location

Great value and location for tourist attractions. Hotel rooms very minimalistic but functional good for short stay. Breakfast room does get very busy at peak times.

Weekend getaway

It is a nice and clean hotel. It is central to major attractions, public transportation, and plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars near by. Friendly staff and check ins/outs are seamless. Would definitely stay here again.

great location, clean/quiet/comfortable. Well-priced for amenities and service, room 'bijou' - feels like a cabin on a boat, but absolutely perfect for a city crash solo. With 2 in the bed wouldn't be such a comfortable sleep! Great aircon, breakfast a little chaotic, but would definitely stay again . Overall very happy and would recommend to others for short stays in CPH :-)

Nice base to explore Copenhagen

Basic but clean room, very functional which is reflective of the price. Fine for a base to explore the city but don’t expect much beyond that. The room was very sparse & compact but fine. Location was perfect, 5min walk from Nyhavn & plenty of restaurants/cafes etc in the immediate vicinity. The area felt safe during the day but a little dicey at night. Wouldn’t recommend for a family but good for a solo traveller or couple just needing somewhere to sleep whilst visiting Copenhagen. My only real complaint was a relative high cost for luggage lockers, whereas most hotels offered this free of charge.

Great value at a discount, spacious rooms

I got a non-refundable last-minute rate that was 40% less than usual for a higher floor room with its own bathroom. That was good value. The room on the top floor was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was fine for a small person but note that the shower is like a cylinder 6-7ft tall and 3ft wide. My only issue was they charge to store luggage for a few hours after we check out.

Just ok but great location

Wake-up is rated 8.2 primarily bc of its location which is great. It’s a short walk to nyhavn, round tower (recommend), Strohet. Unfortunately, we found our rooms were very small even for European standards. Our hotel in Amsterdam was twice the size. The carpet looked and felt dirty (glad we brought our slippers). Per their eco policy, we had to ask the front desk to clean our rooms daily.

Not worth it

The price of this hotel compared to the quality is ridiculous. You pay so much for how cheap the room really is. Also, as a guest you have to pay for them to store your luggage? The bed was also made for one person when there were two people on the booking. I know there are extras stored under the bed but customer satisfaction is simply not met. Spend some more money for a better place. At least there you won’t have to drink out of a paper cup while paying €250 euros a night.

The breakfast room floor was always dirty. The WIFI was horrible. It would go in and out all the time. Extremely unreliable. We reported the issue and we were told that the WIFI capacity was not adequate for the amount of people in the hotel. Unreal!

Fire alarm went off at 03:45 in the morning, and after the fire brigade left, the alarm were still running in the stairways, really strange that people were allowed to enter the hotel after the fire brigade left and that fire brigade didn't stop the alarm after checking

It was very basic. Great location but the a/c worked minimally well so the room was warm most of my stay. You also had to pay for anything extra such lockers before your check in (they don’t hold for you), there is no in room coffe, fridge, or iron. No ice machine anywhere on the property. Overall just ok.

Shower not working...

The shower only had boiling hot water. I guess the tap mixer didnt work. Realizing this at 7am and just before checking out was a dreadful experience! Going to a social event and not having showered was very upsetting.

Not bad, but I wouldn't stay here again.

While the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, I didn't love this hotel and wouldn't stay here again unless necessary. The Wakeup felt very impersonal and the room was weirdly depressing. But my biggest complaint is that I was charged a fee to store my bag for a few hours. Travelers can rarely arrange their travel plans to arrive at their accommodations after check-in time, and often need to store bags until rooms are ready. I was told that this is a new trend. Maybe this is true, but the hotel I stayed in the night prior (not available for a second night), doesn't charge to store bags, so I'm skeptical. And even if this is the new trend, the nickel and diming is getting tiresome. The only way to fight back is to not give these companies our business.

O Hotel tem localização excelente, perto de pontos turísticos, restaurantes, lojas. O café da manhã é muito bom, vale a pena. O sistema de auto check-in e check-out é bastante prático. Os quartos são MUITO pequenos, mal se consegue circular, mas vale pela localização.
