It was an ok stay. I was disappointed that the pool was under construction and closed. Shocked that there wasn’t an elevator on the side of the Resort we stayed so we had to go up 5 flights of stairs each time we went to our rooms, so we asked for a lower floor because we both had issues with our feet and legs, when we were given the lower floor we had to drag our luggage down the 5 flights of stairs it was horrible! Check out was horrible, line out the door, a mgr came in and started asking to help but didn’t ask who was next in line and we questioned her and she was very unprofessional I can’t recall her name. The stay/Resort was nothing like I imagined from the pictures but at least I can say I’ve been to Jamaica I guess.

The hotel had a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was overall friendly and the frint desk workers were not professional. The hotel was not accommodating. I requested two beds and was no given that. I was offered a cot to sleep on. I wastild that there is no guarantee that I could have what I requsted and hotels.com overbooked them.I shared the queen sized bed. The tv didnt work I requested servicefor that but nothing was fixed. I requed clean towel and didnt receive then until bedtime. The dirty towels were never picked up. When my bed was made my blanket was removed and never replaced. I was uncomfortable and did not enjoy my stay. Also, when it rains one of the restaurant floods. The food was okay. The drinks were okay. The gift shop was overpriced. If you're needing an all inclusive hotel to stay at that with bad service, leaky ceilings, half clean and unseasoned food. Come here

This was a Birthday trip for my 76 yr. old Mother..sad to say that we were disappointed with the Room and Customer service...the location of the hotel is great if you want an economical hotel close to the airport, the food served was traditional Jamaican so don't come expecting to get scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast, there are no elevators at this hotel so be prepared to climb stairs with your luggage, we had to wait 24 hours to receive washcloths and our room card key locked us out our room on our last night...dont be fooled by the pictures...at this time, I do not recommend this hotel based on our experiences.

Happy to be a Repeat Guest
We enjoyed a long weekend at SeaGarden, as repeat guests, and we weren't disappointed. Being "shoulder season" the resort was less crowded and we had the opportunity to try the Italian restaurant twice! (The beef lasagne was delicious, and so was the salmon entree.) The Jamaican dinner buffet the other two nights was excellent with oxtail, curried goat, and other specialties. The beach area was beautiful, well kept up, and we enjoyed jerk chicken at the beach grill for lunch after snorkeling. (Note: You can borrow snorkel equipment starting at 9am, and it's best to go when the water is calm and high tide. We saw two lobster and a variety of colorful fish just down the steps near the rocks below the gazebos!)

Poor customer service. No king bed
The check in was very slow. Got given a room on the 3rd floor. Booked a king bed and only got one double bed in it. No TV was available until 7pm on the day of my stay. They said it was a flow problem but flow was available in the sports bar. Eventually after calling about 6 times someone came up and sorted out the TV. The food was very mediocre. Not enough variety. I live in jamaica and fancied a nice salad but only lettuce Tomato and cucumber was available.

Adequate Location
This is a good place for a budget travel experience. Beach is beautiful and private. The property is worn and dated but adequate, though it has no elevators and no air conditioning in many areas. The food is ok but not great. The service is pretty poor in most cases, but there were a few very nice, professional employees. Many larger resorts in Montego Bay are extremely expensive, so this is fine for young or generally budget travelers.

We stayed one night before transferring to another part of the island for our week long vacation. The staff was fantastic, the food we had was good, the drinks were good, our room was clean. We liked that there were more Jamaicans staying there and the beach was public, along with the food in the buffet being more authentic than the larger chain resorts, it gave it a great Jamaican feel and we had a lot of fun. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again for a longer stay, for the price and the scenery and the proximity to the airport this one is a yes for us.

I had a great experience and would definitely come back! Check-in & checkout were fast and easy. The reception desk staff were friendly and helpful. Since we arrived earlier than the 3pm check-in time, our rooms weren’t yet ready, but we got our wristbands and the bellhops watched our luggage in the lobby while we went to explore the property and ate some lunch at the buffet. Hotel guests are given wristbands to be worn during their stay and it gives free access to the beach, dining area and hotel property. There are many free dining options on the property so you only have to pay tip (optional). The Jasmine Buffet has a wide selection of food that changes daily with each meal (breakfast, lunch & dinner) and has mostly Jamaican dishes like curry lamb. The desserts are delicious and the breakfast omelette chef makes your eggs to order. The buffet room has fans but no a/c. The deli next to the pool is free and has ice cream. The pool bar is also free. The Italian restaurant has a/c, is only open some nights, and needs a reservation (you only pay for wine). The Chatham Restaurant also needs a reservation but you have to pay. The private beach is beautiful and is a very short walk across the street (there’s a crossing guard for safety). There’s a free beach bar where you can order food/drinks. Snorkeling and kayaking are free. The exercise room is nice and the entertainment room is fun (pool, air hockey, darts, basketball). My room was good too! A/C, fridge,TV with YouTube, WiFi.
