After a long day of travelling we arrived in the early evening to check in.
We were greeted by the most unhelpful and rude receptionist I have ever met at a hotel. We used out relatively small but useful french vocabulary to check in, this was fine for the first couple of rooms, but when it came to the last room there was a problem. Instead of trying to explain to us in the receptionist’s basic English, she just started shouting and barking at us in French and asking us to pay for this room, despite the fact we had already prepaid all the rooms. After nearly an hour of shouting at us and ignoring us, she eventually gave us our final room.
This experience was absolutely terrible and left us very upset and distressed.
The room itself was clean, tidy and basic; everything you expect from an ibis budget.
