Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Good old Quality Inn is great for location and price point. Rooms are always clean and the staff was great. This particular stay it was very quiet at night which was awesome got some great sleep. Covered parking is always a bonus. My only negative was the water pressure in the shower was quite sad in room 220.

Check in was crazy because of so many people needing to check in. Housekeeping took a long time which is why our check in was late. Breakfast was a mess- the layout causes a bunch of people trying to get food. It was busy and some guests literally took all of the hot did so filling it was slow. Super wash was on the wall near the sink and not in the shower. Room was large and clean. Price was very expensive due to availability and holiday reason (snow!)

My room was reserved for $228.64 but when I was charged for $233 when I checked in. Is it because my room was changed from one king bedroom to two-queen bedroom? It was changed only because they said ones with king bed had broken TVs and they offered to change to two queen room for the same price. However I realized I ended up with paying little more than hotels.com reserved.

Just stayed here this past weekend Nov 22-24 and honestly was really perfect spot and will come back. Free breakfast every morning and has liquor stores, restaurants and bars literally a few steps away. Free parking in an under garage so we avoided snow or any icing on car. Also shuttle across the street runs every 20 minutes to village and ski resort
