2/10 Poor

Worst hotel room by far
I always had good experiences at Red Roof Inns, until now. Let’s start with the positive: the water pressure was good. It seemed the room had been clean except a large glob of something on the bathroom counter. The hand towel hanging next to it was stained and so I decided to not use it, instead covering the glob with the hand towel to avoid touching it. I had to work, so hours passed before I began to settle in. I realized that all the linens were stained, frayed, or had holes in them, including the bedsheets. The unit seemed in the midst of construction, and neither of the lights above the beds worked. Areas of the bathroom were rusty and generally gross. It was only when I saw the cockroach, however, that I decided to take pictures. The location was convenient; I expected a low-end but acceptable room—yet room 150 was not to standards of Red Roof Inn or any hotel. It being late, in addition to being tired, I had no confidence in the front desk finding a better room. I reached out multiple times in multiple ways, only to get a run-around. Most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in by far.

Worse than imagined
Absolutely awful. Property is non-smoking yet our room reeked of smoke. Room was badly damaged (patches walls, broken trim, broken smoke detector), toilet didn’t flush properly & ran non-stop loudly, room right behind office & could hear machines, ppl talking etc all night. Tried to make it work, the smoke was so strong my 12yr old got a sore throat & felt badly. 2 other rooms checked out bc of smoke in non-smoking rooms & room conditions. They wouldn’t refund us/cancel bc we waited too long. Moved us rooms. Next 1 didn’t smell like smoke but was in poor condition. Smoke detector also disabled. $30 per night “resort fee.” Its a crappy motel, what the heck??? I want a full refund from this nightmare hellscape of a motel. NOTHING like pictures. Staff unhelpful. Zero pride in their business or property. Pics from first room (front desk argued these are not cigarette burns & it’s impossible our room smells like smoke.)

Our stay was extremely disappointing. I understand rates were at a premium with the concert in town. However, we paid a high rate for two unsanitary and un-maintained amenities. The rooms were not clean or maintained. Upon opening the front door, dirt and debris covered the floor. Walking around without shoes left our feet filthy (we immediately put the shoes back on and did not take them off). The pillows and sheets were stained. There were visible moth holes in the shades, which the sun shone through early in the am. The toilet did not flush well, and a loud noise was made as the bowl tried to refill. There were no stoppers on the shower or sink. One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

Don’t stay here, it’s gross.
I booked this room last minute for The Eras tour, to have a place for my daughter and I to enjoy our time. It was $150 per night and now I know why. The sheets, pillows, pillow cases, and comforter were all riddled with stains, as in it was time to throw them out. I asked for a new set and they brought me sheets that were much worse, blood stains and all. (I wish I was kidding) The light didn’t work above the mirror and thankfully the maintenance man did come in and give us a new one, so that we could get ready. The pillows were also probably 10 years old and one was the size of a throw pillow. So strange. We didn’t even stay the second night that we paid for because sleeping in the bed was just not something we wanted to do. I wish I had taken photos. I’m embarrassed for this place. They need new management.

STAY AWAY, YOUVE BEEN WARNED
This was the worst possible situation for a hotel. Room does NOT look like pictures. Whole hotel reaks of cigarette smoke. Yellow stains on sheets. Hotel will NOT refund you your money. The hotel management is a joke and just wants your money.

You get what you paid for.
Restroom was roach infested. Water tank of toilet was filling up too slow caused slow flushing. Faucet of hanj sink was not operating correctly. Hd choice of scolding hot to hot. Water pressure of bathtub was very low. They left one half roll of toilet paper in the room when I checked in.

Very old property. I had the confirmed booking but they said no room was available. They offered a smaller room with 1 bed while we booked 2 queen beds for 4 people but the room’s condition was really bad smelly and dirty.

Old outdated rooms, smell like dogs because they are “pet friendly” musky rooms. They don’t clean if you don’t expressly ask so we got no fresh towels. Next day they said “we have no towels”. Indian staff with limited knowledge of the language or the culture. Red Roof used to be ok. People say “you get what you pay for” in this case you don’t even get that. Rooms have no phones. I had to kill a cockroach. Never again with this chain.

So so place
Was a so so experience. Place was alright, but kind of expensive for what it was. Door was partially broken, headboard was broken, toilet wouldn't fill up to flush. All the workers I talked to seemed like they didn't care about much. Lots of people in the office complaining about their rooms. But, the bed was comfortable. And a nice sized room.

Will never stay here again. Asked for more towels because we did not have any clean ones and no one came to clean our room or replace our towels. When we asked for clean ones they said they didn’t have any?
