Location and the history of the place are pluses, but the hotel itself is quite run down. Carpets are stained and dirty, bathrooms are tiny, tubs and tile grout are dirty. Outlets are few and poorly placed. Bed, though, was clean and comfortable.

Good position hotel for harbour access
A hotel that’s a little tired but has a fresh coat of paint. We had a harbour view from our window but unfortunately it was obscured by 4 different, enormous cruise ships over the 4 day stay- so the Opera house and harbour were only visible in the evening once the ship had departed. Breakfast was a good choice and fresh but unfortunately the coffee was awful. Bed very comfortable and the hotel is in a great position in The Rocks area, a short walk from the ferries, botanical gardens and the opera house
