Trapped in the Basement?
I cover 250 Hotels Restaurants pubs a year. Due to my role as a Building surveyor.
Hotel was nice however could be so much better.
Staff very friendly polite & professional.
Especially Vejay at front desk.
Room was nice Queen corner room . Clean etc.
Breakfast itself was very poor.
Fresh juice really watered down.
Seating was mixed one day nice green chairs next day crammed white tables.
Alot of people asking to be seated in a better area. As lots of space in green leather seated area.
No plates for cooked breakfast. Asked two members of staff.
Took 7 mins for plates.
Bacon / sausages cold.
No spoons again waited nearly 10 mins for staff to get spoons.
No maple syrup again waited on staff. Gave up. As never arrived.
Toaster broken.
Coffee machine broken .
Both for over two days ?
Worst part basement car park.
Took bags down from room to lift. One lift out of four goes to basement.
I was trapped in basement for approx 20 mins. As if that lift is busy above then you can never call it down to the basement.
I couldn't get up to hotel as no stairs. So i had to drive car around to front of hotel. Really not impressed. What would an elderly guest do in this situation. Terrible Health and safety 1974 act.
