A true world-class luxury hotel, where staff remembers your name and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. As a local taxi driver put it, “they treat you like kings (and queens) in there.” We enjoyed our pool suite villa, and took advantage of the two excellent restaurants in the hotel, with Apertif one of the best in Ubud. Tip: don’t skip the welcome drinks at the Apertif bar, easily one of the best with old-world decor oozing speakeasy vibes.
