Best & so close to Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL
My husband & I were at Mayo Clinic October 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th, in Jacksonville Florida all day long till the evenings. The staff were professional, caring, attentive, & always ready to lend a helping hand. We felt truly blessed by God to enjoy the complete comfort, safety & caring from all staff & the area around us. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of Holiday Inn Express Jacksonville Beach Florida. We will be back at the end of October for more tests & procedures at Mayo Clinic and will definitely be staying here again.

(Part 2) I spoke with 4 different agents from my bank and they all confirmed the funds were removed out of my account. After speaking with multiple agents from IHG I learned (1) that the hotel canceld my reservation with expedia and created their own (2) The manager admitted that they Authorized my card for room tax incidentals. Because I work in the hotel industry I know that upon check in they authorize your card for Incidentals (which places a pending charge of $50) and when you check out its refunded to you within 5-7 buisness days. This hotel authorized the cost of the entire stay ($213.44) plus incidentals and tax and then cancled the authorization when i checked out making it seem as though I have a balance when they are the ones that checked me in incorrectly. The manager was very nasty and condescending in her speach. She also threatened to take leagal action against me and told my bank "I dont know if this lady has a habbit of turning off and on her credit card or blocking charges". This was alarming to me because the $213.44 was already removed and they were still trying to charge me. Why does it concern the manager what funds I have available in my account when the hotel already removed their money? She was just plain out rude! She didnt apologize or try to explain anything she just made threats and made me seem stupid when my bank account shows the full charge from the hotel! Now I have to wait for the authorization to release the $213.44 in 5-7 buisness day

This has been the worst experience I've had. I booked through expedia and payed in advance for the first 3 nights, then made a separate reservation on expedia and chose the option to pay at the property for my last night (the 4th night). Because my reservation was separate the key becomes inactive after the first reservation. Knowing this I checked into my second reservation early in the morning so that I would still have access to my room. I specifically asked the agent to charge my card for the stay and check me in (which I assumed would include the security deposit for incidentals). I saw the charge of $213.44 removed out of my available funds and the charge was pending. The cost for the room was $163.44 incidentals $50 totalling $213.44. I assumed the charge was pending because they would refund me my security deposit upon checkout, nevertheless the funds were already removed out of my available balance so Im under the impression that the hotel received their money. Upon check out I had 6 declined transactions from this hotel. The transactions were declined because I specifically appropriated funds on that card for my stay and nothing more as I was traveling for schooling purposes. The hotel then proceeded to send me emails and messages on expedia stating I owe them money. When I called the hotel the manager was very nasty in explaining what happend which cost me most of my day speaking to IHG and my bank trying to get clarity.
