The pools were amazing, and the location very convenient to other bits of Palm Cove. A massage eased my sore neck after a long drive and a lot of walking the previous day. Our “budget” room was very basic, not even a chair to sit on. There were no towels in our room when we arrived; we went to Reception who only had 1 towel to give us at that time. The cafe’s oven was out of action for the whole time we were there. There was no facility for recycling - in a place which is so close to the World Heritage listed Daintree. Not bad, it could be better.

Comfortable stay
We had a lovely stay at Mango Lagoon resort, in a two bedroom apartment by a pool. The pools are nice and clean with shallow area for toddler and young kids. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is close to Palm Cove beach, a half an hour drive to Port Douglas and Cairns, an ideal base for exploring. When the furniture is due for refresh I'd recommend replacing the wicker furniture set with something that doesn't trap dirt and food.

Lovely reception on arrival from friendly helpful staff, great location and grounds, with easy access to pools and rear access for a short walk to the beach. The rooms were clean and bright with great kitchen and bathroom facilities. Our ground floor appartments had a small courtyard that had a gate that opened directly into the pool. Our stay felt luxurious yet relaxed with easy shopping close by to allow for an apartment style holiday with the surroundings of a beautiful resort. Would happily return again
