Barcelo U Spa has 17 treatment rooms, including rooms for couples and outdoor treatment areas. Massages are available on the beach and in the spa. Other services include facials, body wraps and body scrubs. A variety of treatment therapies are provided, including aromatherapy and hydrotherapy. I know you can do better!!
I paid for a Junior Suite room with king size bed. I requested upper floor, and NO ground floor room. Why checking in at the premium desk, they told me after 25 minutes that I was in the wrong line, and I did have a ground floor room. I went into the premium line because I was told I was a premium guest member after my last visit to Barcelo. So, I was instructed to I get into the regular check- in line for another 30 minutes. I made my displeasure known, and I was given a upper floor room with a oceanview, but with a double bed room, and not the king size bedroom that was paid for. Another thing I noticed with the Theme restaurants the food was coming out cold. I made my concern with one of restaurants while I made my food order for the second visit. They corrected the problem and it was a good visit. These were my only complaints during this visit. I plan to come back soon and I hope these problems are resolved. It's still one of my favorite resorts to visit. Keep up the good work!!

Very beautiful property. The pools were nice, lots of activities, beach was very nice but did have some seaweed(the resort tried there best to keep the seaweed cleaned up). The rooms were nice but we did have some weird electrical problems and the first night we actually had to switch rooms in the middle of the night (1:30 am) because of a water leak. They do keep the mini fridge well stocked for you and housekeeping did a great job. The resort seemed to kind of stingy on the towels. The few issues we had would not keep me from coming back. Over all the place is beautiful, the food options are good, and the weather is perfect here!!!

The food was horrible, is a huge resort with poor quality in meals. The drinks are watered and don’t taste like nothing. They need to consider the quality no the quantity. People look like desperate on the buffet areas, even a la crate food are the leftovers or reheated. You can’t find any meal hot everything is cold. Is horrible a horrible experience to me and my family. I don’t recommend this place to any body. Please expend a couple more dollars but a better service and food. I’ll never come back to this hotel no ever for free.
