Downtown Austin Hotel Accommodation

"No hot water , does not appear contractors were competent. Fixtures loose, faulty , lights flickering , pipes constant drip. I did receive a refund and staff was helpful but the building is in disrepair. "

"We had a great stay for 3 nights here. We checked in late and appreciated the front desk taking care of us. We really enjoyed the room we had on a corner, 5th floor- yes, you could hear music and noise on the weekend, but IT"S AUSTIN, we were fine with it and mostly out enjoying the city anyway. Good location in terms of walkability to some great spots around us. The pool area was very pretty, we wished there was a hot tub. We had a drink and snack up on the top floor and the view and vibes were nice, the bartender made a good martini. The parking is valet only which was a bit of an ordeal just to wait for someone to get to you, then get your car- they never sent us the text to be able to pre-get our vehicle when we needed it though we brought it up several times. They were very nice about it all. Overall we would recommend and could see staying here again on a future visit to Austin."
