It is in a good area, you can walk everywhere. But the hotel itself is tired, needs a good clean, a shame as the rooms by the river are fantastic.

The pool looked a bit shabby. The fire alarm went off, we left and phoned leaving a message asking the hotel to call when we were able to return to our rooms but they never called us. Wasn’t impressed with their handling of the fire alarm whatsoever

4/10 Fair

Positive review - Convenient location. Size of rooms. Great shower. Negative review - worn furnishings (similar to a flatting situation), stained carpet, no kitchen area/cutlery/microwave etc., no view, no upgrade available, indifferent/unprofessional staff, overall hotel needs a major cash injection to upgrade/refurbish. Would not stay here again=not worth the $s paid.

2/10 Poor

There was a party in the room next door that went well into the early morning hours. With the front desk not being manned overnight and the phone number going to a recording there was nothing that could be done about it. I expect motels not to have staff overnight, but I expect more from a major hotel in a larger town.
