Very, nice, clean, upscale hotel for an oceanfront hotel. Everything was clean and in good working order. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good.

Exactly what we needed for a romantic getaway, they had our room ready by 12:30 for an early check in. I was not a huge fan of the valet only parking as I prefer not allowing anyone to drive my vehicle but that’s not a complaint just a preference, drinks at the pool side were made to perfection. An Experience
Beautiful resort but a lot of corners are being cut to save on expenses. No hot tub, Kitchenette with no microwave or fridge. One mirror in each room and extremely understaffed bar & poolside . Also valet needs ALOT of work so have patience. Menu is ok but was designed by chef from Finland which doesn’t really fit Daytona Beach’s aesthetic but was still pretty good food. If you’re just looking for somewhere visually aesthetically pleasing this is the place to stay.

Very nice new Hotel in Daytona Beach, Costly in the services they provide and I imagine they go to a target of customers where they want to focus. Breakfast with expensive prices and food is not impressive, also The only option to park is with valet parking and the parking lot is left in a building one block from the hotel, whenever you need to use your vehicle it has to be through valet parking service at $40 a day. Very nice pool area and nice pool bar with limited drinks options. We'll be back soon after all these holidays.

Terrible Hotel. Will not be back
Terrible stay. As an elite Marriott member I will not be back. I checked in at midnight. I asked for a late check out. I was told noon was latest and the lady was rude about it. Then, I asked for self parking & I was told no, there is no self parking. It’s $40 to valet. Annoyed I was like fine as I had no other options. It cost me more to park than rent the car. Then I was told oh you still owe $30 for a resort fee to which I was told I could use because the restaurants & bars & everything was closed after I checked in & by the time I would also check out. They only have 1 restaurant that is open for dinner & pool bar which doesn’t open until lunch time. This was the worse stay ever. Never again.

Check in was a headache. Alynn was my receptionist and made for a poor experience. She canceled my reservation prior to arrival, without calling to advise me, she double charged me for valet after I clearly explained this to her in great detail, she gave me keys with no room number, had an attitude with me like I inconvenienced her. I liked the newness and cleanliness of the property. Staff was good, but inexperienced because of the newness of the hotel. I did not like there was no option to self-park and the overnight valet was $40 tax tip. That's an automatic $50 on the rate, plus the $30 resort fee, which I guess was supposed to be rebated by a $30 credit. Not a great deal. I did not like at all that I reserved in advance on Expedia, 2 breakfasts included. It was clearly stated on the confirmation, but the hotel did not agree even looking at the confirmation. Strange. They ultimately provided a voucher for 2 free breakfasts, which sounded okay, but after we ate and received the bill, the server pointed out that only some of the breakfast options were included in the voucher. Really? Strangely there was a slight difference (inclusion of potatoes) between the included option and the one we were charged $15 for plus $8 for coffee even though there was a carafe with free coffee outside the restaurant door. Strange. I don't like surprise fees when I check out. I really don't like that.
