The Prince Park Tower Tokyo - Preferred Hotels & Resorts, LVX Collection
"Our stay here was amazing with one exception. The air conditioning in our room was not working properly. In the morning the August sun was rising on our side of the building which raised the temperature in the room 5-6 degrees in an already hot room. We needed help renting a car to go to the Mt Fuji region and the concierge was extremely helpful. She called the nearest Toyota rental car facility and made the reservation for us. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan on staying here the next time we come back to Tokyo."
Shinjuku Granbell Hotel
"Breakfast was excellent and dining area was very clean and roomy. Hotel room was incredibly small compared to regular American standard. There was very little space and no room to unload your luggage. Bathroom was clean but extremely small. It was definitely designed to accommodate small in statue folk that dont mind small spaces."
Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo
"Best view. Best rooftop hot springs. Great location."

"Clean hotel, appreciated the staff! They come in and change the towels everyday plus leave you some water and deep clean every 3 days as well ! Nice room with AC and overall just a good vibe in the hotel from entrance! Area is quiet, you are nearby shinjuku station, downtown shinjuku is about a 20-25 minute walk. There’s a few small 711 nearby and family mart! The room was a good size it was two of us, so the luggage fit right in the corner."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Tokyo
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Tokyo is in January, February, and September when hotel prices are typically lower. For those on a budget, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days offers great value for money, allowing you to explore the city's prominent landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions. During your visit, you can immerse yourself in the beauty of temples, museums, and monuments, as well as enjoy the vibrant urban atmosphere, excellent shopping, stunning architecture, and lush natural parks. Plus, don't miss the chance to savour the local seafood delicacies.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover enticing hotel deals in Tokyo, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. To ensure you stay informed about potential savings, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications for flash sales and exclusive last-minute promotions. Hotels.com can keep you updated on your preferred hotels’ pricing and availability. Additionally, utilise the Smart Shopping tool within the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, which could help you secure great deals if prices drop or new rooms become available.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the season, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay in a Tokyo hotel. If you're after a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and sometimes better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, helping you find the best deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Tokyo's fantastic public transport system, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there’s often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
