We arrived at the resort & almost instantly noticed of how absolutely hot it was when we walked in, we were greeted by a nice man & led us to the check in counter, everyone in there was soaking in sweat and there were small standing fans here & there. We were going through checkin, almost done when at the end he notifies us that "by the way we have no a/c throughout the resort, and don't know when it'll start working" according to him it was only a few days that it hadn't been working. He said we are moving all of our reservations to the main tower that has some what of a/c, we asked if we could go up to the room to see exactly how hot it was before we checked in. The room was horribly hot, mind you it's July in Cancun, so it was extremely hot & humid. I asked why no one had notified us about this prior to our arrival & he said they didn't because they didn't have our booking information since we had booked through expedia! So according to them they had no email no nothing, but when i went in to checkin they had everything. We later asked an employee if he could tell us how long they hadn't had a/c & he said that they were lying to us at the counter about the time frame of which they didn't have any. He said they hadn't had a/c since tropical storm beryl had hit & there was not really a specific time of when it would be fixed. The man at the counter even told us, oh it's really not that bad at night you can just open the balcony doors to let the air in. It was horrible
