finally get to get to drink a cup of coffee!
We love this place! We stayed in the 4-people dorm. it was good, every bed there is a curtain, so you get your privacy. We are very impressed with the breakfast, finally we did not need to eat chinese buns and porridge for breakfast. Very recommended if you visit Chengdu. Next door is a hotpot restaurant if you like the Sichuan thing.

Affordable, nice staff, big rooms, ok wifi
Go to the hotel's website for the address in Chinese. The room and bathroom are spacious, wifi ok when there's not a lot of bandwidth users. Only complaint was construction noise on the floor above us on our last day. Had to call reception to make them stop. We discovered a fantastic evening food stall emporium in the outdoor courtyard of the mall on the corner of Ningxia st and West st, 2 blocks away from the hotel. Incredible food options! Take a taxi to IFS mall downtown and check out the food court there as well. Time Plaza in front of it comes alive in the evening.

The most accommodating hotel
They have the warmest and most accommodating staff who made me feel like Chengdu was my home for 3 days. I've been to different hotels but this one is my favorite so far.

Layover Visit
I recently spent the night in Chengdu during a long layover. In short order, I was able to find transportation to the hotel, get checked in, and rest. The staff was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. If ever I find myself in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel. The young lady at the desk even offered suggestions on local places to eat, and called a taxi for my return to the airport.

Dorm not suits family
The hotel is probably good for backpacking. If you have a family of 4 and book the 4-bed dorm, which costs 360 yuan per night, well, the room is not very comfortable. Ceiling is very low, window is small, no television and telephone, no safety bar for the upper bed.

Best hotel experience
Our stay was beyond amazing. Firstly, the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Our first evening, dessert was delivered to our rooms. When my friend and I went to chill at the rooftop garden, the staff brought us free tea! Furthermore, the rooms were minimalist, clean and comfortable. We could even do our laundry, though there was only one washing machine. At night, there would even be an outdoor movie screening at the rooftop garden. I would strongly recommend anyone coming to Chengdu to stay here, where I had one of the best hotel experiences. The prices are very affordable as well. Neighbourhood was rather quaint yet had many restaurants and nearby amenities. Cannot praise this hotel enough! Thank you for the great experience!

Second Time, Still a Great Experience
This was my second stay at this hotel. It was still a wonderful experience. Great price, wonderful friendly staff, good western and Chinese food, clean and large room with a comfortable bed. If I come back to Chengdu this is the only hotel I would stay in.

Great hotel! Highly recommend!
Probably my best hotel experience in China. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful and most speak some English. The rooms are large and spacious and the bed is firm but very comfortable.
They have an outdoor lounging area that reminds me of a hostel meeting area and creates the same experience. All the food is wonderful with both Chinese and western options. And they have great beer options and cocktails!
I did go on one tour offered by the hotel which was pleasant and what I expected. If you are coming to Chengdu for a few nights to a week this is where you want to stay.

Great Hostel In Chengdu!
I stayed in an all girls dorm at the Travelling With Hotel in Chengdu. This was my first time staying in a dorm and i had the best time! Emily helped me at the front desk and was super sweet. The staff went way out of their way for me and made sure my stay was fantastic. Joseph, the chef at the hotels restaurant, walked me to the train station and helped me purchase my train ticket to go see the Leshan Giant Buddah. The restaurant was in a lounge which had a great vibe, and the food was really good! My favourite was the burger! Emily and Joseph also introduced me Chendgus spicy hot pot. Being able to have this local dining experience was a highlight of my trip. The rooms were nice and each bed had curtains to make sleeping more comfortable/private. I was able to meet a few girls during my stay which was nice! Highly recommend this hotel :)

Excellent staff
I stayed for a week and a half at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the reception had English speaking staff at all times. My room was large, clean and warm in wintertime. The room had a large (over 40") TV with 40 channels. There was no phone in the room but I could you use the one in reception and the reception passed phone messages from my friends to my room. The only mirror in my room was hanging on the wall in the hallway so bring your own if you need one e.g. for shaving.
