10/10 Excellent
"Everything was great other than our rental car was missing a front license plate, so we couldn't park in any of the garages. This made parking more difficult for us, but has nothing to do with the hotel."
"Loved the location of this property, it was not right in the centre but centrally located enough to be quiet. Very walkable to centre which shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The best thing about the location is that it is right next to Bus Stop 12 which is the central meeting point for all Tour buses and also convenient for airport pick up/drop off. The Beer Garden hotel bar is a cool place to hang out. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are Scandi style functional with minimum fuss. Coffee machine and pods in the room. They were very responsive to emails before my arrival as I wanted to arrange for a cake for my husband’s bday when we arrived. Room cleaning during stay needs to be arranged beforehand as it does not take place unless requested. Reception can help you book tours and bus transfers.
Will recommend this hotel."
"We had a large 1 bedroom. Front door and back door. It had a nice updated bathroom with a large shower. The living room was furnished with a sofa and chair. Also a small refrigerator. There's a hairdyer, kettle and toiletries. It is approx. 15 minutes from Reykjavik. Out on a point with ocean views surrounding the place. Even dark enough to see the northern lights. I can't say enough. We loved it!"
"Rooms were spacious. The view from the windows were great, although one afternoon there were people on the roof fixing things, so we had to close our shade. The spa was great as far as the hot tub!"
