"Our first stay at this historic hotel was simply wonderful. Welcoming and helpful staff, squeaky clean and quiet room (even in a front-facing "city view" room). Half a block off la Rambla and within easy walking distance of Picasso museum, Gothic Quarter, Casa Batlló, etc. "
"I would like to share my concern regarding an incident that occurred during my recent stay. While most of the staff were courteous and helpful, I unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with one staff member named John.
John spoke to me in a rude and dismissive manner, which was unexpected and disappointing. More seriously, he made comments about my race that were discriminatory and biased. This made me feel unwelcome and disrespected during my stay.
I believe every guest deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of background. I hope the management will look into this matter seriously to ensure that no other guest has a similar experience.
