The property is not handicap friendly. I stayed with my wheelchair bound mother and discovered they had no elevator. They're service was great. They literally carried my mom up the stairs in her chair.

Clean, but the pics deceive!
Do not be fooled by the pics, these are extremely tiny rooms. Step out of the bed and reach the bathroom in one step, and the front door in 3 steps. No amenities really other than you are across the street from the beach. Full sized beds are not queen sized beds as mentioned. It's a clean little hotel but that's all I can give to them. This should be a $25 a night hotel and not a $60+ per night. There's a nightclub right outside the door that plays music to late in the night and brings the party out onto the street blocking street traffic. It's a clean little hotel but honestly and personally speaking I wouldn't stay here again unless I just needed a place to lay my head for a couple of hours.

Ok, so I will be honest. The hotel is really beautiful. The staff are super kind. The A/C in the room was super cold and the hotel is very clean. The staff arranged for an airport shuttle (local taxi guy) to pick me up this morning with my daughter to go to airport. They go above a beyond. The area around the property is terrible. Not for tourist and that is unfortunate because the beach is 'white sand' and water is crystal clear. Walking to and from the beach creates a lot of anxiety. I am married to a dominican and spent most of my vacation in La Vega which is 2hrs north (but not beach). I can handle the cat calls and the odd request for money, but Boca Chica is on a different level. A ton of prostitution and many locals being extremely pushy. You just need to hold your ground. We were there for only 2 days and spent most of the time at a Pizzaria close by that has security on their portion of the beach. The security is super nice there. I am drifting from the original review, and I'm sorry. But to retiterate the HOTEL is very nice and clean and the staff are top notch. It's the area around the property that could use some intervention and cleaning up.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Vicentina Hotel and I truly enjoy it, the rooms are small, however they are super clean and cozy and the staff is pleasant. The free breakfast is good and if you want more variety you pay for it. The hotel is in walking distance to Boca Chica. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something clean, safe and economical.

J'étais dans la chambre 212 et je n'entendais rien de ce qui se passe dehors. Dès 19h, la rue de l'hôtel devient piétonne. Et forcément, il y a plus de monde, la rue devient animée. Mais moi j'étais très bien. J'aime bien l'hôtel. En plus, il y a 1 personne qui parlait le français et l'autre le créole donc je n'étais pas dépaysé
