Terrible service. Do NOT recommend.
I do NOT recommend this hotel. I’ll start with the good: nice property. Room was great size and bed very comfortable. Great for kids with kids club you can check your kids into. Clean. Good was fine. Drinks ok. The reason I’ll never stay there again: The front desk staff are rude and NOT helpful at all. Had to make a reservation for the restaurants but when we got there we were unable to make any reservations they said none had any availability. Talked to “guest services” who did not help us and had to wait over an hour for them to show up. Finally offered us 1 restaurant for the day we were leaving 5 days later and they had our info pulled up so they knew we had to checkout that day. Went to the restaurants to try get a table and they had more empty tables then full tables and still refused give us a table. Buffet food ok but a restaurant would have been a nice change. I’m a believer in “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it” but want others to know this before they decide to stay there.

The staff were not helpful when called upon. Not enough space to accommodate all of their guests for dinner. Many of the staff were unwilling to assist with customer requests. The only place to cool off at the resort was in our guest rooms. The rest of the hotel did not have air conditioning, making the stay very uncomfortable.

Beautiful hotel with so many options. The staff were so sweet, helpful, hardworking and kind. I felt so safe traveling with teen daughter and being here. The Brazilian steak house La Tortuga was so much fun and delicious. I was recommended to stay here and enjoyed our time so much. Highly recommend to stay at ghe Tulum resort.

Love this resort, felt very spread out and not like you’re typical big all inclusive hotel. Great kids offering with pool, slides, kids club, play ground. Lovely beach. Wide range of food options on site and at sister hotels (book a la carte in advance) Good entertainment options. Near some of the big parks. Def recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Bahia Grand Tulum. Rooms are clean and staff was great! The resort is easy to get around and there was plenty to do. The room we stayed in could use some updating and the air conditioner was not what we are use to in the states but we were comfortable. Dinner options were average but breakfast and snack bars were good
