The location for the Tropicana is great, steps to some great restaurants and beach clubs.
The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the staff is friendly enough. The beds were comfortable, and hot water was never an issue.
One thing that does not work is wifi. If you require it on your stay, this is not the place to book. The "resort and/or cleaing fee" charged at check in is also a bit of an overcharge. Just include it in the price, or don't expect a tip at the end of the stay. I'm not sure what this fee is supposed to be for, no one could actually give a consistent explanation for it. It was either a tax, a cleaning fee, or resort user fee.
