Clean and comfortable
The hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient even though its furniture and rooms are outdated. Staff are friendly. Okayama Castle and Kōraku-en Garden are within the walking distance.

Lovely Hotel
My room was pretty big considering I was in Japan and not paying a lot of money. The people were very nice. The breakfast had a good variety. And it's very convenient to Okayama Station.

Boutique hotel with everything you need.
Lovely spacious room, with largest bath we’ve had. Bed and pillows (unusual husk ones, which were firm, unlike most of the too squishy ones elsewhere!) were comfortable; Buffet breakfast was great. Very convenient to station and garden, and lovely view of the little canal nearby. Staff were helpful, and friendly, and we took up a suggestion to go to Kurashiki Bikan, which we enjoyed. The display of local arts and crafts n the lobby and on each floor was an interesting touch. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, good location
We only stayed one night but had a great experience. It seems to be suited for business travel but we had a great time, big comfy beds, lovely service and very convenient for onward travel. There are also lots of nice restaurants and bars in the area.

The breakfast was very good. The room was bigger than expected though still on the smaller side. The service provided was excellent. The biggest issue was the parking - the parking lot at the back of the hotel was under renovation so I had to park at a lot that was a ten minutes’ walk away. The area was full of nightlife activities so I felt a little unsafe walking to the hotel from the car park late at night due to all the drunk people on the streets.

Other than being a little dated (eg. Plastic door handles) facilities were great. Room size was excellent and it was near an eating street.

Okayama Koraku Hotel is conveniently located, approx 10 min walk from the train station. Its about a 15 min walk to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Gardens.Theres lots of restaurants close by. The hotel is modern with art displays on every floor. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a nice size. The staff are very friendly. We appreciated the free use of their bicycles. I highly recomment this hotel.
