Great stay
We got upgraded from our standard room to an ocean facing deluxe room. This was on the fourth floor of building 4 (no elevator) which we made work but not ideal. Staff was friendly but we spent quite a bit of time after being seated waiting for a server. We eventually learned to have our drink and food order ready because the wait times between interactions could be lengthy. Beach was gorgeous and convenient. Food was nice and specialty restaurants were special. Typical Mexican resort issue of poolside chairs being mainly towel holders for people who were back at their room or eating.

I wouldn’t stay here again, however it’s certainly not the worst. It was perfect for our one night layover in Cancun. They offered an airport transfer (for a fee) which is ultimately why we chose this resort. The dinner buffet was very small, but the restaurants on site looked really nice. Staff hospitality was lacking a bit, everyone was nice but not very informative or anything special.

The perfect friends holiday
We loved our time at NYX! The rooms are small but spacious enough with all the things we needed, the balcony was lovely with a view of the sea. All of the staff are so friendly! We didn’t have a bad meal, the food was great and a good selection too. I’ve never been to an all inclusive with an al a carte restaurant available everyday. We loved spending time at The Deck restaurant. The drinks are fab too, they’ll make any cocktail you ask for. We also enjoyed the activities we took part in. There is a bus stop just outside the hotels and taxis are easy to get too. I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say!

We really enjoyed our stay… amazing view of the ocean, beach was steps away, food was delicious. We could’ve done without the attempted vacations stay sales pitch when we exited the breakfast restaurant. Overall, really liked this place and would stay here again.

Hotel located good area. Room was spacious. Bath room door was stuck and couldn't open suddenly ,middle of night. Room light couldn't turn on suddenly. Restaurant umami was excellent. This small resort was above our expectations. We spent 4 nights here and most of the reviews were spot on. The beach was immaculate. We were always able to find loungers. No seaweed at all! You can order food and drinks on the beach. The Deck-Never had a bad meal here. Quesadillas, wraps, guacamole and pico were our favorite. I'd caution against the burgers because we saw the meat sitting in the sun uncovered for about 20 min which is scary. Umami-the tepanyaki table is only included if you stay 5 nights, but the sushi bar and dining room doesn't require a long stay or a reservation. We had kimani rolls, shrimp fried rice, octopus and fried chicken. Octopus was rubbery but the others were superb. Teriyaki chicken was bland with no sauce. Chianti-Included with 3 nights and it is a must. The Lasagna was so meaty and flavorful. Veal costoletta was juicy. Breakfast buffet had minimal options but was still tasty. French toast was always fluffy. Omelets were typical. They had something like a fajita mix with meat peppers and onions as well as hot sandwiches as options too. They didn't have trays of bacon but had some available for omelets which was weird. Rooms-If you don't upgrade the room gives college dorm vibes. Small with just the basics. We upgraded to the master suite. Well worth it. The resort itself is old, but they are working on renovating it. Think old English cottage meets Santorini Greece. Quirky nooks and levels are kind of awkward but charming.
