stayed overnight in Ottawa to see an NHL game, booked a king suite which did not disappoint. The hotel is modern and clean, pool is warm and inviting, staff were very kind.
My only complaint was the entrance to the hotel was awkward to find, as its in the back corner of the building, and the parking situation there is absolutely terrible. Seemed like the hotel was quite full due to many families for what I assume was a hockey tournament. We struggled to find anywhere to park just to check in and bring in our luggage. We were told on check in that the top part of the small parking garage was for hotel guests, which was fine. We got back from the hockey game at 11pm and there was not a single parking space available. The top parking had piles of snow that were blocking many spaces, plus people had double parked. We ended up having to park on the street around the block and walking back to the hotel. When we got in I informed the staff that there was no parking, and wanted to make sure that I would not get towed on the street. He told me it was fine. Luckily it didn't snow, or else street parking would have likely not been an option due to bylaws with snow removal. A hotel this size should really have more parking overall.
