Great hotel, but run down
If there were some dollars put into this hotel, it could be outstanding. The view is unmatched, the rooms are a very good size, the main floor is classy and elegant. Unfortunately it's run down and needs an update. We had a great stay though.

Not for me but overall good
The hotel itself was good. I’m very timid and being my first time in downtown Edmonton, I was a little freaked out by the location. The Parkade was also scary since there’s instances of people having their cars broken into. But the reception desk had very patient and kind workers who comforted me and were patient. The hotel room was fine, but smelt musky and old, I was also worried about bed bugs, (I didn’t have any) and there were stains on my bed sheets, but overall very clean. Also, I’m unsure if it’s for eco friendliness or not but out of the three lamps I only had one with a lightbulb… so that was a bit annoying (especially since I checked in late at night) But my view was very nice, bed was clean, room was clean, I loved the little coffee maker and the bathroom was pristine. The bed was very uncomfortable but I require a specific mattress so it’s probably just a me thing. Overall good, but location is not ideal so I will personally look for a hotel outside of downtown next time. :)

Great Location
We always choose this hotel when we have anything happening in the downtown area. It’s within walking distance of Rogers Place and lots of great restaurants/pubs. It’s very conveniently located with a great view of the river valley.

Great location and staff
Great location, the staff are fantastic. Breakfast was expensive for quality, similar to basic continental breakfast included for free at other hotels.
