Perfect San Francisco location
The hotel was perfect for our trip. The location was central to places we needed to go. It was a great stay and I would definitely go back if I need to be in San Francisco again.

Good 6.0
EVERYTHING costs extra
The hotel is fine and the gym is very nice. That being said, they have “free” wifi, coffee, water, etc. although all of those things are rolled into the resort fee of $33 a night. My free breakfast costs $5.44 a day for a “service “ fee and I made toast and brought it to my room, I had no service. The chintzy wine pour at the bar was embarrassing for $15. Also going to mention the sick bartender who was coughing, sneezing and blowing his nose and not washing his hands. The guests smoking on their balconies was also past annoying. I was able to ask the neighbor to stop but couldn’t figure out all the time where it was coming from. I don’t know why but it was also harder to get a Lyft/Uber to find the hotel?

Very nice hotel
Nice place, very pleased with location cleanliness and all facets of stay. What pisses me off is that the room rate is only part of the fee. The city charges you over $30 a night for a city tax. What bull shit as this is a dirty city with bad over priced restaurants and filthy streets. Hotel was no indication of that, i enjoyed my stay.

In love with this hotel!
Adorable and amazing hotel! We loved the zen garden, the garden level breakfast nook, the rooms were exactly what we needed! A perfect location right in the center of the sites we wanted to see including Pier 33, Fisherman's Warf, Haight and Ashbury and Baker's Beach

Comfortable & Welcoming
The young woman, M. at registration is amazing! All hotels should require the attributes she has. She is genuine and makes you feel so welcome. She makes Hotel Kabuki!!

Poor 2.0
Hidden room, noisy and with no view!
We arrived almost at midnight after a 13 hour excruciating drive from Los Angeles ( with a group of 4 Germans - who I convinced to stay at your hotel). We were exhausted and looking forward to stretch our legs! We dropped everything in our rooms and rushed back to the lobby to have a drink at the bar... it had just closed. Now, I went to your front desk/concierge- same lady that checked us in and asked if she can help us by suggesting anything at all we could do and she simply said NO. Now, I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 30 years now, and I would have gone above and beyond to make this people - that are about to cry of how tired our experience with the drive was - feel better. Could she had suggested a nearby place that is open late? Could she had suggested calling a cab, Uber or anything to help us out? Even better, room service delivers beers? Could we have had a beer at the lobby sitting area? Could she had at least “try” to accommodate us? Service was not existing at that moment- she made us feel SOL as if we just checked into Motel 6 and our expectations were too high for the place. In addition, I was placed in a room that could have perfectly been a storage room, with a window facing a gigantic HVAC unit that made a vibration noise all night long... I should have guessed that when I saw ear plugs on my night stand... The worse hotel experience I’ve had in a long time!! SF hotels have gotten very spoiled thinking they can sell anything at any price!
