Lovely hotel only a 14 minute walk from the Centre
We only stayed one night at the Carnmore Hotel the night before we left Christchurch on our flight home. It was a lovely spacious room with a very comfortable bed. It had a fridge with tea/coffee & milk. The bathroom was modern and spacious and the staff were very pleasant.

Great stay for our first night in NZ. Clean, modern room walking distance/close to the city center/restaurants and friendly staff. Very easy to get to from the airport in a hire car after 36 hour journey. Highly recommend!

Location is a little off but is a short walk 600m to Catheral Square and Market Square. But don’t go in the evening cos shops are mostly closed. Room given to me was street facing and noise only died down towards late night. Other than that, the chambermaid/man has done a brilliant job of keeping to room clean and the bed extremely comfy. Staff are friendly but not so helpful though. Would have given a 5-star rating if service was better.
