Eldorado Resort - Manteo, Kelowna, Canada

Great property that hasn’t aged well, in need of a major update in all areas.

UNFORTUNATELY WE WERE MISINFORMED ABOUT THE AMENITIES, nothing was open such as the pool etc but still charged full rates of $670 for 2 nights

Good stay with nice upgrade. Thanks for that. Smack Dab breakfast was great. Very quiet March morning on the lake. All good. Surprised to find out that the Eldorado and Manteo are now one property. Congrats. Always love both sites.

Quick checkin and check out. The room was superb, clean and quiet. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. It’s our favourite place to stay in Kelowna.

Our overall opinion was that it was over priced. Our visit was in early fall season and many of the hotel's amenities are focused on its lake front location which wete unavailable during the cool weather. Our experience was that it was not a good value for the price of the room. We won't recommend it to others and won't consider this hotel for our next stay in the Kelowna area.

The lobby and room were beautiful; service was lacking. I was there with my mother who uses a walker and got a trolley to bring in our bags and was not approached about any assistance. We stayed 2 nights and left the room at 11am and made sure the do not disturb sign was off the door, but when we came back at 5:30, the room had not been cleaned. I even left a note on the beds saying not to bother re-making them as they were fine, but new towels and coffee/tea supplies would be great. I went down to the office and they said we must have had the DND sign on the door and I said NO I did not. I would expect for the price of this hotel it would have been serviced while we were out. I asked for coffee/tea and some towels and they said they would send room service up. About 15 minutes later the room service guy came with two towels balancing 3 coffee pods and two tea pods, no cream, no sugar and no shampoo or anything extra. I have to say the view was awesome and the beds were extremely comfy. I also could not regulate the thermostat and it went up to 24 celcius..I had to open the sliding door to cool the room down in the middle of the night. I would not stay here again for the price, there are much better options available...and others include a free breakfast which this did not have.

Great stay, love the feel of the place and location hard to beat. Have stayed there a number of times over the years, looking a little worn in places, baseboards and carpets in places. Time to start some minor renos??

Loved the location and the amenities of this hotel. They had lots to do for the kids.. my kids enjoyed the game room and water slide the most! I appreciated the size of the room and convenient location close to vineyards and also shops and eateries. The beach is a nice 5 min walk too. My only complaint would Be the water pressure of our shower. It was super weak to the point I had to wash the kids under the faucet. Otherwise, it was perfect! We will definitely go back again.
