Kapalua Villas, and Kapalua in general, is pristine. If you're coming with family, you should be fine here. If you are traveling alone the way I did, you might prefer a resort where you will run into people to speak with. The lonely factor was my biggest dislike.

nice view but outdated

The place is dated and really needs a deep cleaning. The downstairs bathroom shower door is about to fall off its hinges due to rust. The AC unit downstairs is so corroded and moldy on the outside its scary. The toilets run intermittently and the bathroom sinks' faucets leak. Dead bugs are in the light fixtures inside kitchen and the outside patio.

Great view

We love Kapalua Villas, we love the location, the beaches, the privacy, the services. This particular unit had the hardest beds we have ever slept on during any vacation stay. We also had several ice cold showers, not by choice, during our 5 day stay. Also, the dishwasher was broken. The view at this unit is spectacular but bring an air mattress.
