1920s Fabulous Building with new lease of life
Always wanted to try this accomodation. The rooms have been done up beautifully with fabulous bathroom. Yes there are stairs to the second floor with no lift but not a deal breaker. The only issue was the access to the rooms is via a long hallway behind the bar/dinning area and in the morning a trolley full of left over meals was not nice to walk past so possibly they need to think about presentation outside of the rooms. Good parking and nice location with beautiful big trees and nicely kept gardens. Beautiful 1920s building full of lovely woodwork and light fittings.

Hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. I should nite that the hotel does not have a lift, so if you stay on an upper floor, be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs.

This property has a low profile I only found it through Expedia. Locals are mainly not aware of its existence. The room was very comfortable and warm. Ensuite great. Bed very comfortable. Excellent coffee from restaurant.
