It was very quiet just what we needed to unwind after a nice hike.

Convenient, comfortable, and excellent food!

We had an amazing dinner followed by a really cool stay in one of the sheds! It's a great place to stay, and I definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Kings Canyon or Sequoia NP to stay here!

The house keeping staff was friendly and frequently asked if there was more they could do for us. Great food in the restaurant, efficient and friendly.. It was very helpful to have access to their laundry facilities. Thanks all!

Great location and value

I really enjoyed staying at Gena's Inn. I stayed in the cabins, which I would consider a step above "glamping," which is exactly what I was looking for. This is a great location, about 30 minutes outside of the Kings Canyon entrance to SEKI. I appreciated the ease of access and thorough directions provided prior to check-in. The food at the restraurant was quite tasty as well! I would easily stay again!

Good location for visiting Kings Canyon

Friendly staff and very accommodating. Stayed here when visiting Kings Canyon. Room was very small and tight space in bathroom but very clean. Bed was comfortable. Gena's restaurant was great and very friendly staff.

What we needed

We stayed in room 4. It was everything we needed - a clean room, nice beds, and our own bathroom. The only thing is I am a big woman and the bathroom was tight to get around in - for a normal sized person it would be fine. We did have dinner in the restaurant - great tasting food!!

Budget friendly, close to Kings Canyon/Sequoia NPs

While we needed up enjoying our stay, I was surprised to find out it was a mini cabin in a converted shed with shared bathrooms/showers (for 6 cabins). It was not listed on Hotels.com, though I guess it was in the confirmation email the Inn sent me. It needed up being fine, all part of the experience and price was very affordable. Bed was comfy, shower was hot with a rain head, outer and inner locks on bathrooms/showers. The restaurant on site had great food, good local beer selection and friendly staff. A great place to sleep when visiting Kings Canyon and/or Sequoia NPs as it is very close to both.

Road trip

It was a charming little place and very convenient for 2 days exploring Sequoia and Kings Canon NP. Room was very small for 3 adults ( full & bunk beds). It was quiet and staff including Gena, her husband and waitress at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
Caren, 1-night trip

Cute mountain cabin

Pretty good for family with kids as they would love the loft and bunk beds. I like the spacious communal shower and toilet. One inconvenience is there's no mirror in our cabin and no chairs. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but the food looked good from menu.
almon, 2-night trip

Okay for an overnighter

It is a little place to sleep while exploring the area. Surprising the restaurant was excellent (we had the steak) Staff is friendly. They have musical instruments you can play with and pretty good cocktails. Okay for an overnighter.

Very unique vintage property but the best part was Crystal a property caretaker was so welcoming it made our experience enjoyable with her friendliness.

8/10 Very good

A great stay overnight and good restaurant on the way to Kings Canyon.
eleanor, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Bathroom not super clean and not enough TP. I had to go to the restaurant to ask for some. We also had to pay $10 for ice in the communal kitchen. There was no coffee for the little coffee pot.
Shelly, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The place was cute, it's basically a garden shed, turned into a little cabin. But, there are no rails along the loft or the top bunk, and that felt unsafe. I woke up a lot that night because i didn't want to roll off the bed, nor have my kid roll off the bunk. Also, i know it says community shower/restroom, but I wasn't aware it is for males/females to be in at the same time. That was weird. Funny though, it's an inside shower but there's large gaps along the floor, a frog was hanging out with me in it. There is a restaurant, but we didn't eat there.
Karen, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Very nice looking place
ofek, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The only complaint I have is that in the morning I had not hot water. To be fair there is a notice that hot water is on demand and may take 5 min to warm up. I waited 25 min with the shower on full blast hot and never got anything but cold. This was at 6:30 am and I don’t think there was a huge rush on hot water. That said the staff of the motel and restaurant were very kind and accommodating and I’m sure if I had told them about it they would have done something.
