Good Location Bad customer service.
As we went into the building the security guard stopped us and asked us where we were going— we explained we were checking in and he directed us to the room in the building where the “front desk” is. We knocked on that door for close to 20 minutes; we knocked from 9 am to 9:20 before we gave up and came down the elevator to the main building (A -> B). The security guard let us know he had no key for us and if there was no one there there’s nothing he could do.
I called Expedia because this seemed like a ghost hotel, I asked for a refund so that we could go to a hotel, but they said no refund could be issued because it was non refundable— which I would understand if there was a hotel to check in, but we didn’t have a hotel. All of this took more than an hour and I’m calling from my US cell to Expedia costing me long distance charges. After an hour of waiting and being on the line the lady from Expedia finally gets a hold of the “front desk” agent; he refuses to refund my money and says he’s been there the whole time (which he hasn’t). We go up to building B and up the elevator, he opens the door.
The receptionist was rude as soon as he opened the door, no apologies, just said he had been here the whole time (which he hadn’t). He is grumpy and rude the whole time he’s checking me in. Asking me for my passport and then going on a rant about me.
In short, Would not recommend. We checked out at 9:30 and he was not there for that, I had to slide the key under the door.
