Comfortable room in a very natural, garden setting, although it was near a large hydro dam. Excellent dinner prepared in the restaurant by the hosts, with a nice selection of local wines.

I liked how hassle free our check in was and how lovely and warm the room was.
The only bad point was that my phone operates on 2 degrees network and i was unable to get signal or make use of the wifi

Small, boutique hotel in a fabulous setting
A fabulous little "hotel" with about 5 rooms, a restaurant and a huge balcony area. Very large and pretty gardens surround the premises. Nice walk down to the dam wall. Very friendly owners and the restaurant is quite popular with the locals. Great stopover point

This very nice property is a top quality accommodation. The landscaping, building exterior, room finishes, bathroom qualities and supplies are all superior. There is a dining room with a great selection of food, local beers and wines. In particular the two site managers/operators provide a high degree of hospitality and service.

Great little spot on the River.
Had a great time, the pair running the place were great value and really helpful. I don't often need to travel to Roxburgh but will definitely stay there again next time I'm in town.
Only reason I dropped the comfort level by 1 level was because I didn't have a table or desk in the room which made getting work done after hours a little cumbersome.

One night at the Lake (once we found it,)
Lovely room in a Lovely setting, strange place took us a while to find the road to the lake. The dam was easy to find. Probably superb for cyclists but for us road trippers it was a long way from anywhere’s. Need to say that the stars were phenomenal. No less with recommending this hotel

Lovely little lodge. Great for short stay.
We managed to secure a last minute booking and we are very glad we stayed at Lake Roxburgh Lodge. The room was very comfortable and the staff were externally friendly. Make sure to book into the restaurant for dinner...the food was fantastic! Very high quality and excellent value for such a high standard. Unfortunately the weather was terrible for our stay but there is a beautiful lake and great cycling routes close by which we will definitely for.
