Give it a miss...
Disappointing.... our room did not look like the photographs so perhaps we were on a level that was not usually used. Mould in the bathroom cupboard, windows hadn't been cleaned for years. We noticed a horrible smell outside our room door, my husband found rubbish had been stashed in a cupboard near by - surely this should have been something easy noticed by the cleaners. The location was the only positive. Lucky we were only here for a short time but would happily spend a few more $ next time to ensure we were in a nicer environment.

All The Convenience
The stay was easy. It wasn’t anything flash but it was clean with a big bathroom and a queen sized bed, pillows could have been better but that’s not that different to most places. The location was super convenient right next to a convenience store and McDonalds. It was also with a 2 minute walk of Flinders Street Station and about a minute from the nearest tram on Collins Street and 2-3 minutes to Bourke Street. Access was easy, even after arriving after the reception was closed as the hotel gave me very clear instructions on how to enter the property and get my keys from the safe. If you just want a room to stay in and a good sized bathroom in an extremely convenient location, this is the place.

Didnt stay, had to find somewhere else, seemed that there were bed bugs. Itchiness started within an hour of arriving, reception was unattended from before 6pm, no one to talk to about the issue so we left.

Bathroom has been updated. having a toaster and microwave was good. Furniture and tv need updating. Finding a working power point was a challenge. However given the price it was more than adequate for an overnight stay in the centre of Melbourne.

I was there for 2 nights. Check in was ok. Bathroom was mouldy, dirty and in need of Reno. TV didn’t work. Mentioned it next morning when reception finally turned up 1 hour late. They said they had someone coming in to fix. Still not working next day. They don’t give a stuff. Just read previous reviews. Would not recommend this accom to anyone.

Great location, honestly surprised you can stay somewhere that cheap right in the middle of the CBD. However, currently (September 2024) it's across the road from a construction site that is making significant noise from 6am to 11:30pm. Other than that, the sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable enough and I didn't get tinea from the showers so it was fine considering the price point and location.

After hours check was simple to follow. Room was very basic which suited my personal needs which was a comfortable bed with clean sheets. The amenities were somewhat lacking with poor maintenance, carpet was torn leading into the bathroom which was a tripping point. Holes in the vanity unit base where mould was visible. Silastic sealed edges on bath shower had mould under it and further mould through room. The entrance to the building was dingy and narrow, only 1 of 3 elevators were working. Photos supplied of room and conditions were not anything like reality. Personally would not choose to stay here again.

TV didn't work in bedroom. Construction outside bedroom window that had spot lights on all night and noise early morning. Paid for car parking only to find out on arrival that if you go to a specific car park, the motel will give you a validation ticket. This is not noted when booking. Shower pressure terrible and spent 5 minutes trying to get the temperature to a point that wasnt ice cold or scolding hot. Floors dirty. Bed was reasonably comfortable but pillows were thin and worn.
