Not a Great Place to Stay
To say the room was small would be a significant understatement! It’s right on the ground floor and you can basically see people walking back-and-forth in front of the windows at all times all the way up until about one in the morning. Also, the air conditioning does not work in the room at all, and there are no screens on the windows so you can’t leave the windows open at night because people can see and reach right into the room from the street and the air conditioning doesn’t work so the room stays hovering around 84°F! The bathroom has no shower curtain on the tub and the removable handle moves while the water is on.

Enjoyed my stay here. Very tiny room but was able to make space around the bed for luggage. Wardrobe also helped with putting belongings out of the way. Air conditioning was excellent as London experienced a heatwave while I was visiting.

6/10 Good

Bed size v. small
Very pleasant with one important thing to note…A small double room doesn’t just mean a small room it means a small double bed… about the size of a single+1/3 - so smaller than a double bed - not really practical for two people - rather uncomfortable.

Not great
We booked 4 rooms. None of them had adequate air conditioning, one was not working at all. One room had stains on the bedside and chair. Our TV remote was really dirty. Top sheets weren't on the beds. Comforters are for twin beds, so when you push two twins together, the comforter is way too small for a 'double' bed. Two coffee pods per room but you had to go to lobby to use the coffee pot. After two pods total for your stay, not per day, you were charged 2 pounds each although they had enough tea to offer the entire city of London.

Great Hotel and Shelby is a star
We had an overnight trip to London for a show and the Railways turned a 3 hour trip into 7 hours. We barely made the show and could not drop our bags and check in - Shelby on reception dealt with the whole thing of getting us in late calmly and extremely efficiently - even calling to ensure I had received the email instructions. The Hotel is great and we would highly recommend it - clean comfortable and quiet.

Clean and close to tube but needs updating
This is not a 4 star hotel but rather a 3 star hotel due to it being clean, the staff was friendly and it's only a couple of blocks walk to Earl's Court tube station. But the air conditioning didn't work, the bathroom fan didn't work and the towels (no wash cloths) were all old and stringy. That's my hotel review but the worst part was they charged my credit car for all 3 days when I had pre-paid the room through Hotels.com. Thus a credit card dispute is in process. Take your receipit and show them if you pre-pay or you'll be charged again.

Staff was incredibly accommodating! The bathroom needed two things: more shelves for guests to use and a safety bar in the bathtub/shower for holding while getting in and out of tub.
