I first learned about Tabard Inn sometime in the late 1980s: it was amazing then and it remains the same today.

This is no ordinary Inn. It reminds me of a number of similar establishments in England that are one of a kind. I think the fact the Tabard is majority owned by the employees is a major factor in the exceptional service and ambiance.
