Dorm conversion.
Decent basic accommodation in what appears to be a uni dorm conversion. Good access to surrounding areas. A little sketchy area immediately around the building but its inner city so one can’t expect much more for the price. Although the price is a little steep for this place.

Not sure why there were permanent residents at this hotel? Some obviously have mental issues. We felt uncomfortable.

Great budget hotel.
Hotel has been renovated since we last stayed here.
As budget hotels go it is very good- convenient to Queen st, Bathurst and Dundas to the north.
Plenty of local eateries, but you also get a kitchen in your room if you want to cook!

Front desk staff was not overly friendly and bordering on rude. Extra charges were not disclosed prior to booking. The location wasn't bad but also didn't exactly feel safe. Honestly, the front desk staff is the biggest issue

The area and “tenants” are very sketchy. I didn’t feel safe outside of my locked room. The room was Motel-grade.

Property is essential a converted apartment building, room looks like it used to be a studio apartment. Room was clean, has a small kitchenette (complete with dishware). Area is a residential area next to a park that is currently closed off just off a busy main street. Not the cleanest area and just gave off a vibe. However, it's close to shopping and dining as well as transit (it's between Dundas and Queen). Would stay here again.

This neighborhood had a lot of fun things going on, including bars and restaurants and cheap Asian food. The hotel room was a bit like a museum, with old fixtures and furniture, but the bed was fine and the bathroom was spotless and well-maintained. The check-in area is really just an office you walk into, but the process was easy. If you are a thrifty traveller, this place is perfect.

The rooms are cozy enough if you need a cheap place to stay for a night. Surround area was a bit sketch but that's just Toronto for ya.
