Cockroaches and terrible customer service
After arriving from a very long 11hr flight it took us ages to find the property because it is listed on two different locations depending on which map app you use. On arrival, we were told we had mistakenly booked for 1 guest in 1 room instead of 2 guests in 1 room. This was my mistake but the lady at the front desk proceeded to spend 10 minutes chatting to someone on the phone about it and then eventually charged us an extra fee. I would have been fine with this but the room rate was the same online for 1 or 2 guests, so not sure why this extra fee was necessary and even if it was - couldn’t we have sorted it out on checkout when we weren’t clearly exhausted??
The room we were given didn’t look like the pictures and there were cockroaches in the outdoor corridors and stairwell leading to our room (the door had a huge gap underneath so I’m not sure what would stop the roaches from coming into the room also).
The only positive was the pool area was nice but unfortunately we didn’t get time to use it. Would not return.
